Every year, the Miss South Africa pageant attracts hundreds, even thousands, of people to the Sun City Resort , with all those people wanting to witness the selection and crowning of our next official ambassador. This annual event is as auspicious as it is exciting and has become a who’s who of South African celebrity and talent.

Miss South Africa is seen as role model for South Africa’s people, as well as a dignified representative for our country at the Miss World and Miss Universe pageants. Norma Vorster was crowned as the first Miss SA in 1956, initiating the tradition that would grow to be an event that empowers South Africa’s most intelligent and beautiful women.
